At World Headquarters you won’t be assigned the intern team. Over 44 years combined industry experience working for the world’s biggest brands means lightning fast ideas, understanding and action.
Our style is focused, integrated and realistic. We’re not stuck in our ways. And this is a prima donna free zone. Our years spent developing innovative digital experiences taught us the importance of leading a tight team that’s empowered and encouraged.
Ideas are what makes the world go round. Money is nothing but an idea. Religions are ideas. ‘Work’ and ‘leisure’ are ideas. Even E=mc2 is, well, you get the idea...

World Headquarters is an innovative, ideas-led communications micro-agency run by a versatile, highly experienced creative team.
Founders and Creative Directors Gav Gordon-Rogers and Gemma Butler have worked together for over 20 years. We also happen to be married. But don't let that put you off - we're used to it by now. We started off by making music videos together in 1997, after Gav had been nominated for a Best Director BAFTA. We created promos for acts including Belle & Sebastian, Snow Patrol, Echo & The Bunnymen and Paul McCartney.
As advertising creatives we’ve delivered national and global campaigns for clients such as Mercedes-Benz, Honda, PlayStation, O2, Unilever, Diageo, Unicef and the BBC.
Our strong track record is thanks to building long and successful partnerships with clients and delivering effective, original and acclaimed communications time and again.
We launched World Headquarters Ltd in 2017. Our focus is on brand storytelling, film-making, and developing meaningful communications for organisations large and small, based pretty much anywhere on planet Earth.

Prior to launching World Headquarters Gav & Gem worked at some of best regarded advertising agencies in the world including Wieden+Kennedy, Karmarama, Agency Republic and Adam&Eve. Some of them for a few months, some for years and years. These places are where we learnt from the best in the business (thank you, places).
As well as winning countless national and international advertising awards we’ve helped four different agencies to be named the UK's Digital Agency of the Year on ten separate occasions.
Times are changing but our ambition hasn’t. We continue to strive for excellence in both creativity and effectiveness in every project we undertake.
