World Headquarters again worked with Alliance Creative to help Edrington launch two very special limited releases from Highland Park single malt scotch whisky.

Highland Park’s Vintage releases represent some of the brand's most precious long-matured malts. Each one has a unique and distinctive suite of flavours - a harmonious and delicate explosion of unexpected aromas and subtle notes.

How can just one sip transport us into such a complex world of many-layered, vibrant flavours? And if we were to visualise it, what would that world look like?

In this campaign we celebrate the striking depth of flavour in each one of these two rare vintage releases. Our visuals are an abstracted representation of the multifaceted tasting notes of the 1988 and 1990 Vintages. A wonderful, alluring melange of flowers, fruits, herbs and heathered, peaty smoke.

By using strikingly modern warping and glitching effects on our imagery we're visualising that magical moment when the person sipping a dram first experiences the surprising and abundant world of flavour that began its journey to maturity 34 or 36 years ago.

"1988 / 1990 in a sip" communicates the profound depth of flavour experienced in the tastebuds and minds of those lucky enough to savour one of these very special limited releases.
